"Pirate Pete the Parrot"

"2005"

I just couldn't resist doing a portrait of this guy. He was just brimming with personality as most parrots are. He reminded me of  our "Blue Fronted Amazon" parrot my family had when I was growing up. He was hilarious! I still miss him to this day.

This man in the moon mirror (commonly found 12" diameter stock mirror) became quite the Halloween gent.

I painted him with acrylics and embellished the figures, tree, and the bats that swirl around him with  pinhead rhinestones. Hope to do more of these in the future.

This is another great gift shop that I have the honor to have my  art sold in for the second year." The Headless Horseman of Hudson Valley" has a place of prominence in the front of the shop as well as "Did you hear something?" to it's right. Also shown in the photo is "Eternally Yours" ( top right) and "Autumn's Surprise" (top left) The owner Anne Balogh does Halloween justice in this cute and eclectic shop. Always busy even in this economy Anne must be doing something right.

One of my new pictures 'Did you hear something?" (Featured above the witch in the photo)

I've mounted this print on a reproduction tin ceiling tile  with a masonite backer.

The tin tile hangs by rings riveted through the tile and hangs by a  black coated wire.

|The print has had a sealer applied to it to protect it and the black tin tile has been glittered with black micro glitter for a stunningly sparkling effect.

Also available at" Blue Hydragea Gift Shop" Dallas, Pa

Dundees  staff always do a spectacular Halloween display and

I am so happy to have my work sold there for another  year.

My daughter and I did some damage to our our bottom lines $$$ when we shopped there recently, but when you see all the great Halloween  items one can hardly help it.

 "Homespun Gift Shop"

14 Race St. Jim Thorpe, Pa  (570) 325-3590

Homespun carries  Halloween and Christmas art work  from August through  Dec. 31st.

Homespun's  owner Debbie Weistel has a wonderful talent when it comes to  decorating her shop  and constantly amazes me with her new  and creative ways to arrange my art.

Whether she's including my small art in a wall pocket (sooo cute) or showing my larger works on an old weather worn door she's constantly exploring new and innovative ways with her merchandise. Her gift shop is a must see

when you're in Jim Thorpe.

"Homespun" also is a bed and breakfast with sweetly decorated rooms and comfortable beds.
